Coronavirus Update

Presently, when news regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become widespread, I personally wanted to reach out and inform you that we're vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to ensure your safety when visiting our businesses. Daily, we thoroughly monitor and analyze statements and developments from international, national, and local health agencies, and we are taking actions to abide by their directions which are based on medical science and facts.

There is nothing more vital to us than ensuring that this situation is managed as effectively as possible in order for you to continue to feel at ease visiting our businesses. Our senior management team meets daily and will continue to make decisions on how we can further improve our programs and actions to help protect guests and employees. The health authorities informed us that, to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, we must: frequently wash our hands, avoid contact with sick people, heighten cleaning practices and avoid working when ill. All our actions are focused in these areas.

Here’s where we are at this time:
  • We are abiding by the newest state mandate that all people including customers and employees must wear a face covering while inside our facility.
  • Our employees are often reminded via multiple channels about frequently washing their hands. We're communicating with them about it, providing additional literature, and providing additional hand sanitizer dispensers as well.
  • For guests, we're giving out more hand sanitizer dispensers throughout our businesses in areas that are high traffic and high visibility. Our reserves of hand sanitizers are also being increased for use by our employees and guests over a lengthy period
  • We're purchasing more disinfectant and cleaning supplies. The frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces in public areas with additional staffing is also being increased.
  • We are reinforcing training procedures to make sure that the processes of cleaning are properly implemented by our employees.
  • If an employee appears to be suffering from flu-like symptoms, they'll be asked to seek medical attention and to stay at home until they’re free of symptoms.
  • We’re encouraging guests who’re sick to seek medical attention and stay home to completely avoid public exposure. Please avoid our businesses if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and contact us to cancel any incoming appointments. We’d gladly re-schedule for a future date.

We appreciate your loyalty and business to Huntersville Ford. We’re committed to implementing suggestions from the health authorities to ensure that you are given the peace of mind you deserve as you visit us now and in the future. The health and safety of our employees and guests will always be our top priority, especially during these challenging times.

Best Regards,
