This is equipped with six speakers, Auto Car Play, Android Auto, and two USB ports, among standard technologies. When it comes to safety, it offers a long list, including the MyKey feature for secondary drivers. It also has blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist, as well as pedestrian detection, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and forward collision warning, among others.

Like the Explorer, the 4Runner is gifted with an eight-inch touch screen for its infotainment configuration. It may be gifted with Amazon Alexa as part of its standard list of offerings, but when it comes to safety, it does not offer lane keep assist, and even with the addition of the blind spot monitoring, that is quite a dismay.

Performance

The Ford Explorer has a base engine configuration that can hit up to 300 horsepower, with another engine option that can score up to 400 horsepower. Under the hood of the Toyota 4Runner is a sluggish engine that can only aspirate up to 270 horsepower.
