Automatic high-beam headlights, driver attention monitor, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, rearview camera, and rear parking sensors are included among standard driver aids for the SUV.

The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder also has an eight-inch touch screen display to complement functions of its infotainment system. Safety wise, it has already updated its list to include the same features as those carried by the Explorer as standard. Nonetheless, it takes some time getting familiar with these components most especially for those who have been used to the usual Pathfinder experience.

Performance

The Ford Explorer gets a boost from a base engine that can yield up to 300 horsepower. Another engine option reaches results of up to 400 horsepower. In the case of the Pathfinder, results start at 284 horsepower, with the Rock Creek trim's engine oozing only up to 295 horsepower.
